Hi, my name is Isabel and I’m an illustrator based in Kent, UK. Art has always been a passion of mine but it was only during my time at the University of York when I was getting my degree in English Literature that I decided my dream was to become an illustrator and produce my own children’s books.

I work both traditionally and digitally to create charming illustrations for children’s books. My work has a natural and organic feel to it, and I like to draw upon the textures of the mediums I use such as pencil and watercolour.

I am inspired by classic illustrators such as Beatrix Potter and Cicely Mary Barker. I hope to echo their timeless styles in my modern art, paying homage to an earlier period of illustration.
